Aims:

  1. The English Panel will continue to implement PEEGS to P1-6 students to encourage reading across different subject areas and improve students' reading abilities. The graphic organizer worksheets will also be revised and implemented in P3 to P6 to further enhance students' reading skills.
  2. Moving forward, teachers are encouraged to explore the use of creative questions as a means of inspiring critical thinking and deepening students' learning. The Micro Lesson Study Scheme will be extended to three grades to assist teachers in utilizing C3 questions more effectively.
  3. It is recommended that greater attention be given to providing students with the tools and strategies necessary to learn independently and monitor their own progress. As part of this effort, the design of the Bank Book and self-learning worksheet will be modified to better promote these skills. The element of ‘S’ (Self-evaluation and study skills) in M.I.N.D.S. activities strategies will also be emphasized to encourage students to take an active role in their own learning.
